주로 학자들의 에세이로 구성되어 있다고 하는데요. 호주, 캐나다, 독일, 영국, 아일랜드, 미국 등지의 학자들로부터 보내져 온 것입니다. 커리어 우먼이었던 루시 모드 몽고메리의 독특한 경력이나 글쓰기 연습, 캐나다 소설에 미친 영향이랄지 그간 알려진 어린시절, 살던 장소, 그녀에게 의미가 있던 공간들, 작가로서 목사부인으로서 여기자로서등 다양하게 비춰지는 정체성 등에 대한 새로운 정의와 접근, 그리고 영상 매체에 나타난 앤에 이르기까지 다양한 주제에 대한 글들이 실려 있다고 하네요.
