올해도 프린스 에드워드 섬에서는 "The Lucy Maud Montgomery Festival"가 열립니다. The Lucy Maud Montgomery Festival은 PEI의 대표적인 축제중의 하나로 바로 섬의 여주인들의 행사입니다. 다채로운 음악 행사와 당시의 캐나다의 생활을 체험할 수 있는 즐거운 행사들로 채워집니다. 앤과 다이아나의 "Story Club" 놀이등의 다양한 체험 놀이와 주일학교 피그닉에서와 마찬가지로 앤 당시의 딸기가 토핑된 수제 아이스크림을 맛볼 수 있는 행사등 아이들 뿐 아니라 앤을 좋아하는 어른들도 즐겁게 지낼 수 있는 2박 3일간이 될 것입니다.

A campfire program that evokes the cultural history of Cavendish and the life and literary inspirations of L.M. Montgomery. Bring a blanket and insect repellent. There is no cost associated with this event.

Writer's Workshop with Deirdre Kessler 9:00am - 12:00pm
This writer's workshop is open to writers of all ages who are interested in life writing and in selecting portions of life writing and memoir to use as the basis of poems, short fiction and dramatic monologues. Deirdre Kessler is a Charlottetown-based writer, teacher, and braodcaster. She teaches children's literature and creative writing as a sessional lecturer with the English Department of the University of Prince Edward Island.

Take an enchanting ride the old fashioned way – with a horse and buggy! Gaze into the Lake of Shining Waters. There is no cost for carriage rides during this period.

"My Native Land Goodnight" Departing for Prince Albert An Historic Reenactment 3:00PM
Musical entertainment in the town gazebo to commence at 3:00 pm. At 4:00, take part in the re-creation of Miss Maud Montgomery’s departure on her journey across Canada to see her father in 1899 and her chance meeting with a famous Canadian political figure by script-writer Heather Ludlow. There is no cost associated with this event. Hosted by the Town of Kensington.

Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social 11:30PM - 1:30PM
Enjoy ice cream topped with strawberries in the beautiful and historic surroundings at the Site of L.M. Montgomery’s home in Cavendish. There is a full afternoon of activities planned including Celtic music, heritage interpretation, magic, Victorian games for children, and, of course, some good old –fashioned fun!

L.M. Montgomery Memorial Service and Torchlight Walk 8:00PM
Take part in a special interfaith service to remember L.M. Montgomery. This years guest speaker is to be announced. After the service, walk to The Site of L.M. Montgomery’s Cavendish Home and discover the magic and beauty of the Macneill Homestead property by torchlight and join us for a lunch in the Christian Education Centre to close the evening.
